The first of six stops on the 2013 STP World of Outlaws schedule at Williams Grove Speedway took center stage on Friday for the Eyecon Trail Cameras #7 team as driver Craig Dollansky prepared for his 63rd appearance at the historic paperclip half-mile located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania against the always tough local ‘PA Posse’ contingent.
After posting the fastest lap in hotlap session two, ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ continued the strong start to the racing program by timing 13th among the 46 cars in qualifying. Earning the pole position for heat one, Dollansky took the lead when the green flag waved and powered the Aggressive Hydraulics Maxim to the heat victory. An inversion draw of six for the dash just missed the Elk River, Minnesota native as he started seventh and lost one spot in the 6-lap race.

Following final preparations by DJ Lindsey, Sean Michael, Luke Dollansky, and Chevy Corn, the MobileStar backed sprinter lined up outside row four for the 25-lap A-Main. Advancing one spot on the opening circuit, Dollansky then closed on Joey Saldana before executing a slide-job on the #71M in turn 1 & 2 on lap 5. Following a caution six laps later, the Eaton’s Aeroquip Performance Products #7 lost one spot on the double-file restart and ran seventh until Kraig Kinser snuck by on the final lap as Dollansky finished with a solid top-ten in 8th.
Another night of competition awaits the Eyecon Trail Cameras #7 team tonight at Williams Grove Speedway.
