With the original proposed series of Minnesota Mafia Point Fund races unable to take place because of a disagreement on the tire rule between the Upper Midwest Sprintcar Series (UMSS) and the Jackson Speedway Touring Series (JSTS), the UMSS is pleased to announce that a portion of their 2013 schedule will still see some increased money going to the drivers
For the second straight year, it is with great pride that both the Upper Midwest Sprintcar Series (UMSS) and the St. Croix Valley Raceway (SCVR) announce the running of the Davey Tabor Memorial for the UMSS winged sprint cars on Friday night May 24 at the 1/4 mile dirt oval located near St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.
Unable to come to an agreement on the right rear tire rule for the planned Minnesota Mafia Point Fund series of races involving the Upper Midwest Sprintcar Series (UMSS) and the Jackson Speedway Touring Series (JSTS) cars, the proposed eleven race series had to be nixed.
This Saturday, May 4th, the traditional sprint cars of the USAC Western Classic Racing Series (WCRS) will make their only appearance of the year at Placerville Speedway.
Special thanks to Gil & Al Velo from Edmunds, Washington for donating money to the winners share at this Saturday’s “Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial” in Chico
