LEXINGTON, Neb. — Patrick Bourke moved into a tie for second place on the all-time United Rebel Sprint Series career win list after capturing a victory Sunday night at Dawson County Speedway in Lexington, Neb.
Bourke notched his 20th career URSS win, tying him with legend Jon Johnson, who now is retired.
Bourke’s win didn’t come easy by any means. He was locked in a tight battle with Adam Trimble and Jake Bubak during the final laps.
The three sliced and diced their way toward the checkered flag, with Bourke inching past the other two drivers for the win.
Trimble finished second, with Bubak — who won the night before at Phillips County Speedway in Holyoke, Colo. — in third. Zac Taylor and Mark Walinder rounded out the top five.
Heat race winners were Trimble and Walinder.
The Keizer Aluminum Wheels Hard-Charger Award went to Trimble for the second night in a row. He started 10th and finished second.
