Atlanta, GA –August 5, 2013 – After six races in the United Sprint Car Series Mid South Thunder Tour regional series for winged sprint cars during the late June and July and a July pavement contest, action picks back up in the USCS Southern Thunder Tour regional series for the USCS winged sprint cars with a double-header at two popular Georgia speedways. On Friday, August 9th the USCS drivers headline the annual Sprint Car Mania VI at Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia located just off I-75 one exit South of Chattanooga. On Saturday night, August 10th the USCS Outlaw style winged sprint cars make their annual once a year stop at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia for the Dixie Sprint Car Nationals. Both races pay $2000 to the winner and a sweep of the weekend’s racing action could net one driver $4500.
The USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour winged sprint car drivers are joined on each of those nights by the www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car series winged mini/micro sprints to create a USCS sprint car double-header at each track. Each race pays $500 to win for the USCS 600s as well with a sweep making $1100 possible.
