(Concord, CA, August 11, 2013) After driving all night from Santa Maria Speedway where he finished third in the USAC/CRA Sprint Car main event on Saturday, Damion Gardner arrived in Bonneville and is ready to begin his assault on the world famous Salt Flats on Monday.

The Beast Chassis/Shaver powered sprint car passed tech in Bonneville today. The crew is fully assembled & ready and all the pieces are in place. The dream that began at the P.R.I Show is about to be fulfilled when Gardner and the “Green Demon” take to the salt for their historic first run on Monday morning.
Forecasted temperatures for Monday are 75 at 9:00 AM, 84 at noon and 86 at 3:00 PM. Winds are forecast at 16 MPH out of the south at 9:00 AM, 9 MPH out of the south at noon and 9 MPH out of the southwest at 3:00. Sunny skies are slated to prevail all day long.
