“I have to thank Todd Ventura and all of my guys for their hard work on Saturday making sure we could get back on the track after the first start,” Hirst said. “It’s unfortunate some people thing we only run a one-lap race, but it happens.”

Timing his Roth Enterprises/HR Livestock Transportation/3H Cattle machine 13th quickest, Hirst was able to score a fourth place finish in heat race action, and earn the transfer into the 30-lap feature event.

Starting in the fourth spot, Hirst would quickly have to give the spot up as contact was made to his left rear, and tail tank, and he was forced to go to the work area for repairs.

With his Roth Enterprises crew making quick changes, the Sacramento, CA pilot restarted in the 23rd spot, and proceeded to put on a show for the capacity crowd.

On the tight bullring, Hirst simply went where there was an opening, as he could roll both the top and bottom of the speedway on his way to the front.

The 25-year-old pilot would work his way up to the seventh spot when the dust settled on the exciting feature event.

“We had a great car, and I think we could have been battling Willie (Croft) and Andy (Gregg) for the win, had we not been tangled up early, but it was a good night for our team, and I have to thank Dennis and Teresa Roth for sending the boys up north last weekend.”

Kyle and his Roth Motorsports team would like to thank Roth Enterprises, HR Livestock Transportation, 3H Cattle,  Mobil1, FK Rod Ends, Weld Wheels, Brown and Miller Racing Solutions, Kent Performance, Kaeding Performance, and Astro Titanium for their support in 2013.
