In the racing world, the month of January in the United States means one thing; Chili Bowl time, and coming off of an outstanding 2013, Kevin Thomas, Jr is looking forward to kick starting his 2014 at this years edition of the famed Chili Bowl in Tulsa, OK.
“We really had a great year in 2013, and I am chomping at the bit to get to Tulsa, OK and get going in the Chili Bowl,” KT said. “It is a tough show, but it is a lot of fun, and helps keep some rust off in the winter months.
Thomas will be in action in this year’s Chili Bowl aboard the Gregg Steele, and Larry Martz owned No. 2 Beast.
“I couldn’t be more excited to drive for Gregg (Steele) and Larry (Martz),” he added. “I am hoping I can do well for them, and spring board us into the 2014 season.”
In what is always a star-studded event, the Cullman, AL driver will be in action on Friday night during Vacuworx night, as he will look to land on the podium, and lock himself into the Saturday night feature event.
“It is a tough show, but we will be there giving it our all to make the big show on Saturday night,” he said.
KT would like to thank Duane and Sonya Alexander, CSI Shocks, Beast Racecars, ButlerBuilt, Hinchman, and Esslinger for their support.
