Port Royal – With the dawn of the 2014 racing season approaching at Port Royal Speedway, season seats and admission passes continue to be available.
There is no increase in price for season seats and passes for the 2014 season as all rates remain unchanged from last season.
The oval has Saturday, March 8 slated as a test and tune day from 1 – 4 pm, open to any racecars on the just released 2014 itinerary.
And then one week later, on March 15 at 6 pm the oval will host its first racing program of the new season as the 410 sprints and the super late models share a dual card in the season lidlifer.
With the deadline for season seat renewals now in the past, all seats are open for purchase at the oval.
A season reserve seat for all oval racing events including fairweek races and the Oct. 25 World of Outlaws racing event in 2014 will again cost just $50.00. This pass reserves seats only and is not good for general admission to any events during the upcoming season.
The cutoff to purchase a season seat that reserves a seat for the Oct. 25 program is noon on February 27. Season seats purchased after that time will not be valid for the outlaws program although they remain in force for all other season show.
New for 2014 is the declaration of the entire main aluminum grandstand as a SMOKE FREE environment.
Beginning with the 2014 season, NO SMOKING WILL BE PERMITTED ON THE MAIN GRANDSTAND at Port Royal Speedway. This policy is only for the main grandstand.
Smoking continues to be permitted in all other seating and viewing areas aside from the main aluminum grandstand.
The Family Seating area of the main grandstand will continue to be provided in Section C, where no alcohol or smoking has been permitted since 2011.
Patrons are urged to take note of this new MAIN GRANDSTAND NO SMOKING policy for 2014 when renewing or purchasing season-reserved seats for the next year.
General admission season passes are also available, again at a cost of just $300.00, which does include general admission to all fairweek races in 2014 as well as all October events.
In addition, season pit passes are being offered, again at a price of $400 each while reserved fan parking spots behind the grandstand are being offered again for $50.00. Please note that the parking passes will not be good for fairweek events.
