Holly, MI — (June 4, 2014) — The Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series (MSRXSS) will return to Auto City Speedway in Clio, MI this Saturday night June 7. It will mark the fifth straight year that the MSRXSS has visited Auto City Speedway.
Saturday’s event will also be the opening round of the inaugural “Must See Seven”. The “Must See Seven” is a separate series that will reward points from all the Michigan MSRXSS events contested in 2014 towards a points fund and crowning of the “Must See Seven” champion.
Several of the biggest names in asphalt sprint car racing are expected at Saturday’s Auto City event including: Jeff Bloom, Ike Beasley, Tim Cox, Troy DeCaire, Brian Gerster, Ryan Gillenwater, Ryan Litt, Jimmy McCune, Aaron Pierce, Jim Sheets, Kody Swanson, John Turnbull, Tyler Underwood, Billy Wease, and Jacob Wilson among others.
DeCaire was the most recent MSRXSS winner with his win at Anderson Speedway on May 21. Wilson is fresh off his second Must See Racing sanctioned Pay Less Little 500 on May 24. Swanson may be one of the hottest open wheel drivers to date. He is the current point leader in the United States Auto Club (USAC) Silver Crown after winning two of the first three events with a second place showing as well. Swanson’s most recent win came in the prestigious “Hoosier 100” at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on May 22.
Pierce is the defending Auto City MSRXSS winner. Pierce put on a spectacular driving performance in last year’s event. He charged from the tail for the win after an early race spin. Pierce was not to be denied the win as he concluded the night in dominating fashion.
Saturday’s “Xtreme Speed Shootout” will be capped off with an exciting 50-lap feature. It will be the third event of the year for the MSRXSS. There have been three different winners thus far in 2014. Pit gates open at 1:30 pm with racing schedule for 8 pm. For more info please visit www.mustseeracing.com
