Members of both the Indian Lake EMS and Dayton Auto Racing Fan Club were on hand in addition to the weekly race fans for full of program of racing.  The Vintage American Race Cars were also on hand showing off pieces of racing history to fans in attendance at the 1/3rd mile dirt oval.  Racing on the track was sure hot with many races decided by a last ditch move off of turn four for the victory.

The Performance Powder Coating AMSA Mini Sprints were first to hit the track for their 20 lap feature event.  Current point leader Rod Henning and the 44 of Ron Coleman led the field to the green flag to get the feature portion of the racing program underway.  That task seemed too simple as the IVO of Andrew Heitkamp came to a stop entering turn four and not taking the green flag to get the race underway.  He was taken pitside and never returned to take the opening greenflag.  Trial number two got the A-main underway with Rod “Hot Rod” Henning jumping out the the lead into turn two.  Coleman stayed with Henning in the early laps when the yellow flag flew for the E99 of Gage Etgen who went around backwards off of turn two.  Etgen had been battling with Anthony Hass leading up to the caution for spots just inside the top ten.  Etgen restarted the race on the tail after starting next to Haas in row four.  The focus shifted to to the third spot on the restart as Chase Dunham in the 66 and Gary Campbell in the 14 began to battle.  Dunham got a great jump on the restart and managed to outpower Campbell for third with nine laps in the books.  Riley Van Hise would spin on the bottom side of turn four bringing out the caution and restacking the field.  Henning, Coleman, Dunham, and Campbell held spots one through four with laps winding down.  Coleman found his groove and began to make a run on Henning.  The run was such a good one for Coleman, scoring data shows he clocked his fastest lap of the race as he made a run on Henning.  It was evident as he gained every inch of track Henning worked all race to build.  The great run for Coleman went cold causing him to fall back away from Henning.  Dunham and Campbell saw the opportunity and took advantage of it to move into second and third.  Riley Van Hise came to a stop on the cushion in turn four bringing out the final caution of the race.  Nothing stood between Henning and Best Performance Motorsports victory lane as he picked up the win.  Chase Dunham finished in second and Gary Campbell in third.  Chris Bounds picked up the Foz Speed Partz hard charger award advancing eight sports to finish tenth.

The Buckeye Machine Non Wing sprints took the track next for their 25 lap A-main.  The race was full of suspense from the very beginning when the 53 of Steve Little failed to make the initial call due to a pre-race pit stop.  Little reported to the staging grid with an incorrect rear Hoosier tire.  Crews were able to switch the tire out just before the green flag.  Tyler Hewitt and Cooper Clouse led the field to the green flag.  Clouse would jump out into the lead off of turn two and lead the opening lap.  The 2B of Mike Dunlap brought out the first caution of the race when he spun the car around in turn two.  Clouse would hold down the top spot for a brief moment on the restart as the field began to drastically shift.  Mike “Magic Man” Miller used a little magic of his own when he put a slider on both Clouse and Westfall to move from third to first off of turn four.  Mike would experience the top spot for a lap when the field was brought to a halt when Jimmy Snead, Logan Hupp, and Dallas Hewitt tangled together in the center of turn three.  Contact sent Hupp into a pair of rolls until the car came to a rest on all four wheels.  All drivers climbed out under their own power high upset with their damaged machines.  Track crew would take the next few minutes towing the damaged cars from the racing surface.  Mike Miller brought the field back to the green and took off in an attempt to get some distance between him and Clouse.  Matt Westfall knows restarts well and got the jumped he needed to advance into the runner up spot and moving Clouse back to third.  Trouble struck for the polesitter, Tyler Hewitt, when he cut his rear tire and dropped to the bottom of the track.  Kevin Myers was coming quickly and made a sharp turn to avoid Hewitt which sent his car flying through the infield at full race speed.  Members of the media inhabiting the infield commenting on how well Myers held the car together at such a high rate of speed on such rough terrain.  This would turn out to be the final caution allowing Mike Miller to come away with the win.  Miller was able to hold off Matt Westfall, who finished second, and the 14 of, 15-year old, Cooper Clouse.  Dallas Hewitt in the 22S picked up the hard charger award advancing ten spots to finish sixth.  Hewitt also picked up the win of the B-main with 30 cars signing in to compete.

The Post Agri Service Modifieds put on one of the best shows of the night during their 20 lap A-main.  Brandon Vaughan in the 36 and the L5 of Casey Luedeke led the field to the green flag.   Luedeke took the early commanding lead over the field.  His real estate over the field began to slim down as Vaughan and Brian Post decided to put their hat in the ring and make a run for the top spot.  Vaughan, Luedeke, and Post started a three way battle for the better half of the race.  Post would throw a slider on Luedeke and Luedeke would throw it back.  Vaughan would throw a slider on both Luedeke and Post trying to catch them both sleeping.  Luedeke seemed to have the car to beat as he began to, yet again, pull away from Post and Vaughan.  Both of them would begin to sort out the now battle for second as the halfway signal approached quickly.  With crossflags in the air, a new competitor wanted a piece of the action.  The 20M of Josh Morton, who started on the outside of row three, gained some momentum and started to work on the second place pair.  With Westfall following suit, Vaughan and Post had their hands twice as full.  Morton made a run on Vaughan and got the job done with eight laps left on the board.  Westfall wasn’t far behind as he made his own move around Vaughan one lap later.  The final laps would prove to be most difficult for Luedeke as the track began to slow the pace down.  Post reeled in Luedeke and chipped away at his lead lap-by-lap.  With five laps left in the race, Post put a slider on Luedeke.  Luedeke recognized it and used the banking to put one back on Post just before the line.  Lap after lap, Post got closer and closer to having the lead at the line.  Out of turn four on the final lap, Post got the slider to stick for just enough time to pick up the win.  Luedeke, who led the entire race, finished in second with Josh Morton finishing in third.  Brian Post commented in Best Performance Motorosports Victory Lane how close the finish was and how patience really paid off for him.  Weasel Philipot in the 52 finished just outside the top ten and picked up the hard charger award advancing seven spots.  Zach Schroeder picked up the B-main victory with 29 cars signing in to compete.

The Indian Lake Outfitter Compacts hit the track next for 15 laps of action.  Former track champion Justin Durflinger and Cody Sanders led the field to Adam Brimmer’s green flag.  One lap would tick off the board when Jeremy Niswonger took a wild ride over the banking on the back stretch.  The red flag was thrown when Niswonger’s car went full speed through the pit entrance and back toward the track irrigation system.  Niswonger’s car was unhurt and rejoined the field.  With the green flag back in the air, Jordan Iiams and Cody Sanders went door to door over the second spot.  Trading paint is an understatement when both played bumper cars for numerous laps.  David Yoder watched the commotion and waited to make his move.  With eight laps in the books, that time had come.  Yoder jumped to the outside and rode the cushion around Iiams for the runner up spot.  With Yoder securely in second, a run for the lead was already being planned.  Yoder would earn some more time to develop his plan when Tuttle pulled into the infield but remained too close to the racing surface bringing out the yellow.  Justin Durflinger would have company immediately as the green flag flew for the restart.  Yoder went door to door with Durflinger as the white flag went in the air.  Yoder sealed the deal and picked up the Compact victory and the extra cash courtesy of Best Performance Motorsports.  Durflinger finished second with Jordan Iiams posting a third place finish.  Jeff Zwiebel picked up the hard charger award finishing just outside the top ten.

The final event of the night saw three drivers not able to make the call for the 15 lap Block Insurance Tough Truck feature.  Two truck regulars, Shane Jacobs and Curtis Rayle, led the field to the start.  Starting in the front of the field turned out to be bad luck for Jacobs as he fell victim for the only caution of the A-main when his truck came to a stop of the outside of the track in turn one.  Something serious broke on the 0J resulting in Jacobs making a hand signals to track officials to roll the tow truck.  Starting on the outside poll turned out to be a bad spot to start as well when the green flag flew for the final time.  Curtis Rayle had a bit of trouble getting the truck to accelerate at the perfect moment in time resulting in the 3M falling back in the field.  That left room for Mike Sawmiller to make his way to the top spot.  With Sawmiller in the top spot, Roy Miller was left to look in from second.  The Hicks boys were beginning to close in on Miller.  A full-fledged battle broke out for the second spot.  Miller was out numbered as he was sandwiched three wide down the backstretch.  With Hicks on both the inside and outside, Miller held on to the truck clearing turn four with no incident.  Chris Hicks then set his sights on Sawmiller late in the race.  Hicks started the run a bit too late as he could not completely overpower Mike Sawmiller.  Coming to the line, Sawmiller picked up the win and holding off Chris Hicks in the process.  Roy Miller was able to powerback Mike Hicks to a record a third place finish.  Terry Klopfenstein in the 70 picked up the hard charger award advancing eight sports to finish seventh.
