Tulsa, OK — (September 10. 2014) — Adjustments have been made to the season ending schedule of the Oil Capital Racing Series. Two events have been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. Likewise, an event has been added to complete the 2014 OCRS racing season.

The South Coffeyville Speedway event scheduled for Friday September 26th and the West Siloam Speedway event for Sunday October 5th are the two programs that have been removed from the schedule.

Additionally, the Osage Casino Caney Valley Speedway in Caney Kansas and OCRS has joined forces in adding Saturday October 3rd to the OCRS schedule. This special event will be held in conjunction with late models on the card. The battle between Danny Smith and Andrew Deal for the Harold Leep Championship Trophy will come to a head in this season finale. At press time, these two drivers are just 7-points apart in the chase for the title.

The next event for the OCRS sprinters is this Saturday at the Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada Oklahoma in what will be the 8th Annual Oklahoma State Championship event where Norman’s Danny Jennings is the defending OSC champion.

After the Oklahoma State Championship event, OCRS will then head to the Outlaw Motorsports Park in Oktaha, OK on Saturday September 27th for their second stop in 2014 at the 3/8-mile track. This will be the first sprint car race at OMP under new promoter Chris Smith who was tabbed by new track owner Jessie Hoskins to head up this great facility. Hoskins recently acquired OMP from Carey and Nicole Menasco earlier this month.
