Rilat wins Tyson Perez Memorial

Mt. Gambier, AU — (February 7, 2015) — Travis Rilat scored an emotional victory at the Tyson Perez Memorial with the Australian Sprintcar Allstars Saturday night at Borderline Raceway. The event named after one of Rilat’s closest friends that died in an off track accident that also saw Rilat severely burned.

Rilat took the lead from Tim Van Ginnekin after he fell out of the event. From there Rilat held off Chad Ely for the win. Harley Bishop, Jack Lee, and Dion Bellman rounded out the top five.
