The 2015 American racing trip for Danny Reidy hits its peak with the commencement of this week’s Ohio Speedweek Series.
With a total of four race meetings to Reidy’s name heading into the Ohio Speedweek Series, which comprises of nine straight nights of racing throughout the state of Ohio, full of enthusiasm.
“I have been able to draw a lot of positives out of my first four race meetings, so I’m heading into the Ohio Speedweek Series with a bit of confidence,” he enthused.
“Out of the tracks on this year’s Ohio Speedweek Series calendar, I have already raced at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway tracks and I’m looking forward to returning back to them throughout the series.”
Reidy has set an optimistic goal for his maiden Ohio Speedweek Series campaign.
“I just want to try and make the A main every night,” commented the # 5 AU Desert Palms Resort in Alice Springs supported Maxim driver.
“Nine consecutive nights is going to be the most racing I have done in one hit, but I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
After last Friday night’s meeting at Attica Raceway Park was cancelled due to rain, Reidy competed at Fremont Speedway, where he finished the A main in 15th (he started from position 14). Earlier in the night, he qualified 16th in time trials and then won his heat race (from a pole position start) in impressive fashion.
