SYRACUSE, NY – After a very successful CNY Speedweek, the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) took a well deserved weekend off. The 2015 season now resumes this Friday night with a stop at the popular Albany Saratoga Speedway.
YorkMont Auctions brings you the one and only appearance of the 360 winged sprint cars to the fast oval in Malta, NY. Defending and five-time champion Steve Poirier will lead the brigade looking for his third win on the season.
The ESS competition will be stout looking to keep Poirier at bay and they are four time winner in 2015, Chuck Hebing, Jason Barney, Matt Tanner, Paul Kinney, Shawn Donath in the Doug Emery #33, Stewart Friesen, Dylan Swiernik, Danny Varin, Tommy Wickham, Parker Evans, Dave Axton, Paulie Colagiovanni, Zach Weigand, Denny Peebles, Cory Sparks, Kory Gurney, Pete Richardson and others will be on hand.
Also, several visitors from SCONE will join in the fun which includes Dan Douville, Chris Donnelly, Will Hull, Scott Holcomb, Lacey Hanson, Tyler Austin and Steve Hutchinson.
Car Mate Trailers brings you the heats, Snap On Tools from Averill Park, NY is backing the Cobra Coaches Dash, the Lacaillade Masonry B-Main will lead up to the 25 lap A-Main.
Not only will points be paid for the overall Lucas Oil ESS title but also for the NAPA Auto Parts US Tour 2015.
The “Great Race Place” and the traveling road show of the Lucas Oil ESS…It will be excitement guaranteed!!
