JACKSON, Minn. (May 30, 2016) – The National Sprint League will headline the activity at Jackson Motorplex this weekend as the premier half-mile oval has a doubleheader on deck.
The action begins on Friday with an all sprint car event showcasing the Spirit Lake Silver & Gold NSL 410 Sprint Cars featuring the National Sprint League, the Last-Deck® 360 Sprint Cars featuring the GoMuddy.com NSL 360 Tri-State Region and Liquid Nitro IMCA 305 Sprint Cars prior to Saturday’s weekly IMCA program.
The Spirit Lake Silver & Gold NSL 410 Sprint Cars have competed at Jackson Motorplex once this season with Craig Dollansky claiming the $10,000-to-win Folkens Brothers Trucking Spring Nationals on May 20.
Dollansky is the National Sprint League points leader entering this weekend as he holds a 21-point advantage over defending series champion Danny Lasoski, who placed second during the Folkens Brothers Trucking Spring Nationals.
Friday will be the third time the Last-Deck® 360 Sprint Cars will hit the track this season. Ian Madsen swept double features last weekend with Casey Friedrichsen winning the opening round on May 20.
Dusty Ballenger enters this weekend as the Liquid Nitro IMCA 305 Sprint Cars points leader after capturing the first two races of the season.
Tickets for Friday are $20 for adult general admission, $17 for seniors ages 65 and older, $10 for students ages 13 to 18 and free for children ages 12 and younger. Pit passes are $35.
The pits are slated to open at 4:30 p.m. with the front gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps will begin around 7:30 p.m.

Saturday’s event will include the Wilmont Oil IMCA a mods, Bohl’s Small Engine & Marine IMCA sport mods, Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA hobby stocks, Boji Bay Water Park IMCA sport compacts and IMCA stock cars.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors ages 65 and older, $6 for students ages 13 to 18 and free for children ages 12 and younger. Pit passes are $30.
The pits will open at 4 p.m. with the main gates opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps are scheduled for 7 p.m.
