Lee Goos Jr., J.J. Zebell, Landon Krohn and Levi Vander Weide recorded victories on Thursday at Jackson Motorplex during Finke Excavating Night presented by Fox Lake Event Center, which marked the second round of the Heiman Fire Equipment Mayhem Summer Series.

Finke Excavation Night presented by Fox Lake Event Center showcases the Heser Auto & Detailing RaceSaver Sprint Cars and the MedStar Midwest Sprint Touring Series RaceSavers, Late Model Street Stocks, USRA Hobby Stocks and USRA Stock Cars.

The Heser Auto & Detailing RaceSaver Sprint Cars will be joined by the MedStar Midwest Sprint Touring Series RaceSavers, which makes its series debut. Late Model Street Stocks, USRA Hobby Stocks and USRA Stock Cars are also part of the racing program.

The Jackson Motorplex season opener is a little less than two months away. The 2026 campaign kicks off on Thursday, June 4, for the first round of the Motorplex Mayhem Summer Series. The Heser Auto & Detailing RaceSaver Sprint Cars will be joined by the MedStar Midwest Sprint Touring Series RaceSavers with Late Model Street Stocks, USRA Hobby Stocks and USRA Stock Cars also in action.

Winged sprint cars will be a part of all nine nights during the 2026 racing schedule at Jackson Motorplex. Five of those races showcase 410ci winged sprint cars with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series making its lone visit on Saturday, Aug. 22.
