Windom, MN — (June 10, 2016) — The GoMuddy.com National Sprint League 360 Sprint Car Series and its regions will cease operations effective immediately.
This has no effect on the National Sprint League 410 Series.
“In the best interest of 360 sprint car racing and in an effort to curb any further segregation between the NSL and other sanctioning bodies the NSL 360 Series will cease operations effective immediately,” National Sprint League Founder Tod Quiring said. “We would like to thank the drivers, tracks and fans who have supported the NSL 360 Series the past few months. The decision has been made in an effort to reunite 360 sprint car racing across the country.”
The GoMuddy.com NSL 360 Series was established to do what’s best for sprint car racing by adding races for the drivers and focusing on bringing better races to more fans.
“I reached out to (ASCS National Tour Founder) Emmett Hahn earlier this week and we had a good discussion,” Quiring said. “In the best interest of sprint car racing I made the decision to eliminate our NSL 360 Series. Our plan moving forward is to help support the ASCS series in the Midwest and also at Jackson Motorplex. We are also excited to announce we will be hosting the ASCS National Series at our 2016 AGCO Jackson 360/410 Nationals Sept. 2-4. I want to encourage all the fans and drivers to look at this as a super positive move for sprint car racing and go support your local tracks.”
The races that were scheduled on the GoMuddy.com NSL 360 Tri-State Region are on as scheduled, including tonight’s double features at Jackson Motorplex.
