Jackson, MN — (June 20, 2016) — Jackson Motorplex is heading into its most diverse weekend of the season.
The recently renovated facility will showcase a tripleheader featuring the AMSOIL USAC Sprint Cars on Thursday and the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series on Friday. The weekend will be capped on Saturday with the weekly IMCA program.
The action begins on Thursday when the AMSOIL USAC Sprint Cars will invade the half-mile oval. Bryan Clauson, Robert Ballou, Chris Windom, Kevin Thomas Jr., Chad Boespflug, Brady Bacon, Scotty Weir, Chase Stockon, Dave Darland and Thomas Meseraull have each won at least once with the series this season.
Bacon enters Thursday’s event with a 29-point lead over Meseraull in the championship standings.
Liquid Nitro IMCA 305 Sprint Cars and Bohl’s Small Engine & Marine IMCA sport mods are also on the card that night.
Friday’s program will showcase the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series, which brings points leader Donny Schatz, Brad Sweet, Shane Stewart, Daryn Pittman, David Gravel, Joey Saldana, Jason Johnson, Jason Sides, Logan Schuchart, Paul McMahan, Greg Wilson and Jacob Allen as full-time competitors.
The Spirit Lake Silver & Gold NSL 410 Sprint Cars with the National Sprint League will also be in action as well as the Liquid Nitro IMCA 305 Sprint Cars. Craig Dollansky holds a slim lead over Danny Lasoski in both the Spirit Lake Silver & Gold NSL 410 Sprint Cars and the National Sprint League championship standings.
Tickets for Thursday are $25 adult general admission, $22 for seniors ages 65 and older, $12 for students ages 13 to 18 and free for children ages 12 and younger. Pit passes are $35. Thursday tickets are available at http://www.JacksonMotorplex.com or fans can visit the track office between noon – 5:00 p.m. through this Wednesday to purchase advance tickets. Also, if teams want to use a wristband from last Friday’s rained out event it will be honored for Thursday’s show.

The pits are slated to open at 4:30 p.m. with the front gates opening at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps will begin around 7:30 p.m. on both Thursday and Friday.

Saturday’s program at Jackson Motorplex will include the Wilmont Oil IMCA a mods, Bohl’s Small Engine & Marine IMCA sport mods, Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA hobby stocks, Boji Bay Water Park IMCA sport compacts and IMCA stock cars.
Tickets for Saturday are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors ages 65 and older, $6 for students ages 13 to 18 and free for children ages 12 and younger. Pit passes are $30.
The pits will open at 4 p.m. with the main gates opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps are scheduled for 7 p.m.
