Sun Prairie, Wis., August 9—Five divisions of racing highlight the Sunday night’s racing event on August 14 at Angell Park Speedway.

Brandon Waelti looks to extend his points lead in The Mid-State Equipment/Zimbrick Chevrolet of Sun Prairie Badger Midget Racing Series, with a possible fourth feature victory of the season. Waelti currently holds a 120-point lead over Aaron Schuck.

Other racing divisions include: POWRi North Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series presented by Cab Construction & Badger 600 Micro Series presented by My Race Pass, Wisconsin Dirt Legends, Meyer Valves & Vacs Wisconsin Wingeless Sprint Series and the MSA Sprint Car Series.

Tory Strauss (Badger) and Zach Boden (POWRi North) lead the micro points for each series entering the event with Cody Apfelbeck leading the tight points race for the Legends.  Wingless Sprint Series points leader Todd Lehr won the popular series debut at the track two weeks ago. For MSA it marks the series first appearance at the track since August 22, 2010.

Grandstands open at 4:30 pm, practice begins at 6:00 pm, with racing to follow.
