YORK HAVEN, Penn. (August 26, 2016) — It’s only fitting that the biggest race for the Super Sportsman division be run in memory of the all-time leading feature winner in the division.
Susquehanna Speedway officials have announced the annual Sportsman 100 will now be called the Credit Connection Auto Sales Gary Wolford Sportsman 100.
The big event will highlight the Saturday, September 10th racing program at the York Haven facility.
“Gary was one of the toughest racers there was in the Super Sportsman and to me, the toughest race to win is the Sportsman 100,” said Susquehanna Speedway general manager Kolten Gouse. “It’s only fitting that this race is in his honor.
