Since it’s inception the Dirt Classic has gotten bigger and better every year. In its third year of existence, the build up has been incredible as four events in various regions have led up to the $20,000-to-win, $1,000-to-start event. With just one Dirt Classic event left on the 2016 schedule, all eyes are now on the big one as the 3rd Annual Dirt Classic presented by Schmuck Lumber is set for September 24th at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, PA.

“The build up for the Dirt Classic presented by Schmuck Lumber has been awesome,” Dirt Classic Promoter Jarrod Adams said. “Each event leading up to this race has been great, and we have seen interest from teams all over the country wanting to come out and compete with us. We are excited to broadcast on Speed Shift TV again, and hope fans tune in who can’t make it to Lincoln Speedway.”

Part of what has made Dirt Classic so special the first two years in the unique format that comes with the extremely high payout. The 2016 event will be no different, as drivers will have to be aggressive and consistent to make the $20,000-to-win, $1,000-to-start feature event. Again in 2016, Dirt Classic presented by Schmuck Lumber will be available to those unable to attend via LIVE broadcast on www.speedshifttv.com.

The Dirt Classic will put drivers through time trials as well as two heat races and will award points for each event. Those points will play a huge factor into feature event line-ups, so action will be intense all night long.

With much of the vaunted PA Posse expected to be on hand, there will be a cast of drivers from around the country on hand trying to cash in and become the first invader to ever win the Dirt Classic. Some of those drivers include Terry McCarl, Knoxville Nationals preliminary night winner, Tim Kaeding, the North Pole Nightmare and World of Outlaws feature event winner earlier this year, Bill Balog, sprint car legend Dave Blaney, former Australia World Series Sprints Champion James McFadden who will pilot the Kasey Kahne Racing No. 4 machine to name off a few.

Those drivers will go up against a stout contingent of local stars including former Dirt Classic Champions Stevie Smith and Brian Montieth, a red hot Lance Dewease, Greg Hodnett, 2016 Lincoln Speedway Champion Alan Krimes, Lucas Wolfe, Freddie Rahmer, Danny Dietrich, Brent Marks and many more stars and cars from the Keystone State.

Big money and prestige comes along with Dirt Classic glory, and fans in the area are encouraged to make their way to Lincoln Speedway on September 24th. For those fans unable to make the trip, Speed Shift TV will be streaming for just $24.95
