Despite being shut out of victory lane thus far this season, Droud’s three consecutive top three finishes has him with a slim 20-point over former champion Jeremy Campbell. Jon Freeman sits third in the standings, just 50-points out while Oklahoma’s Danny Jennings is 70-points out of the lead and fourth in the standings. Forrest Southerland and Jeff Stasa are the top six in the point standings.
Campbell was the series latest winner, back on Father’s Day, and lapped up to fifth place in the feature event. Jason Martin and Joe Wood, Jr. have also visited victory lane this season with Martin’s victory coming at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Nebraska and Wood taking the $3000 top prize back over Memorial Day weekend in the tours opener.
