The September 9, 50th Tuscarora 50 will offer a one-night total sprint car purse worth more than $105,000 in what will be a two-day sprint car affair spanning Friday, September 8 and Saturday, September 9, to close out the 163rd annual Juniata County Fair.
Friday night has the All Stars and PA Posse sprint car stars vying in a 30-lap, $5,000 to win main event with the granddaddy event on Saturday just 24 hours away.
All the biggest and best sprint car stars from the east and elsewhere will congregate at Port Royal for the huge race as the eyes of the sprint car world focus on Port Royal Speedway for this prestigious and illustrious event.
The race has attracted national attention from drivers who have inquired about attending to compete and some who have confirmed.
The 410 sprint car drivers will race for posted payouts in a C Main, B Main and the 50 lap, $50,000 to win Tuscarora 50, offering a payout alone of some $100,000. The prestigious race will pay $900 just to start.
Contingency planning to accommodate fans getting to and from the speedway and overflow parking are currently being finalized with announcements regarding those plans to be released in the near future.
Other promotions for both drivers and fans for the big 50th 50 are also being finalized with announcements forthcoming.
Sprint car racing driver, commentator, TV personality and author Brad Doty of Apple Creek, Ohio, has confirmed his attendance at the race.
The accomplished driver, author, commentator and TV personality will meet and greet fans prior to the races on September 9.

Advanced reserved seat tickets are now on sale for the big race.

Seats are available for the price of $35, regardless of age, (which includes the price of general admission) in the following aluminum grandstand sections and rows:
Sections A – G, Rows 6 – 19
Sections H – O, Rows 12 – 16
If fans desire to have seating in the aforementioned sections/rows, they will need to pay $35, regardless of age. All other grandstand seating will be general admission seating only on the day of the big event.

The Tuscarora 50 raindate is Sunday, September 10 and as such THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS of advanced ticket purchases should the raindate need to be utilized.
All tickets purchased will be held at the speedway office for day-of will-call pick up by the purchaser.
Day-of Tuscarora ticket prices have been announced with adult general admission set at JUST $30 with students ages 12 – 18 priced at $20 and pits set at $40.
