For the second year in a row Jared Zimbardi was victorious with the Patriot Sprint Tour at Ohsweken Speedway. Zimbardi started third and took the lead from Dain Naida on lap 12, holding off Todd Hoddick for the victory. Bryan Howland, Jason Barney, and Steve Collins rounded out the top five.

Heavy rain caused by the after effects of Tropical Storm Bill have forced Bloomington Speedway officials to cancel the event scheduled for Friday. Next Friday night Bloomington will hold the Sheldon Kinser Memorial with a $3,000 to win sprint car feature.

The Mo Vaughn Transport / Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (BOSS) is set for its first ever trip into the Ohio Valley region this weekend. The touring traditional wingless sprint cars will be making history as they will do battle at the Legendary Hilltop Speedway in Marietta, Ohio on Friday night, then move on to Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, West Virginia for a Saturday showdown.
