Reed Uses Keegan’s Pep Talk to Win at Attica

Byron Reed got a pep talk from Mark Keegan this week…and it paid off. The Monclova, Ohio driver led all 30 laps Friday, July 8 at Attica Raceway Park to claim his 28th career victory in O’Reilly Auto Parts 410 Sprints. For Reed, a six time and defending Attica track champion, it was his first win of the season at “Ohio’s Finest Racing” speedplant, and what a present it was for the Smith Family Foods/Sutton Bank Christmas In July event.

Fremont Speedway offers bonus to 360 sprint drivers

On Saturday, Aug. 13, the 360 sprint drivers of the NRA Sprint Invaders will take on the tough Fremont Federal Credit Union 305 Sprints of Fremont Speedway at “The Track That Action Built.” As an incentive for the 360 teams to come get prepared for that traditional event, Fremont Speedway is offering them an incentive – $100 to the highest finishing 360 sprint in the Fort Ball Pizza Palace 410 Sprints’ A-main on any regular weekly event.

Peters Powers to NCRA Sprint Car Victory Lane!

Former series champion Mike Peters became the sixth different feature winner in the seven events that have been held thus far this season as he led wire to wire to claim the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Smiley’s Racing Products sprint car feature Monday night at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas. The event would close out a holiday weekend full of racing action to celebrate the Independence Day weekend for the series and their three divisions.
