GRAYS HARBOR RACEWAY TO HOST 2011 USAC PACIFIC NORTHWEST FORD FOCUS SERIES

The United States Auto Club and Great Northwest Promotions, the operators of Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, Washington, jointly announced today that starting in 2011 USAC will sanction the track’s Ford Focus Midget racing program. Today’s announcement signals USAC’s first Northwest sanctioned series in 25 years and the first USAC sanctioning at the fabled 3/8th mile high bank dirt oval located at the Grays Harbor County Fairground facility.

USAC ANNOUNCES PACIFIC NORTHWEST REGION

The United States Auto Club announced today the formation of the new Northwest Region which will join the Utah Region as a separate component of USAC’s Western States Operations. The new region will include those states located in the extreme Northwest portion of the country and will provide a regional structure for USAC’s present and future racing series and activities in the Pacific Northwest.

on’t forget, in less in two weeks the ultimate sprint car chassis clinic featuring Hooks, Texas sprint car driver Gary Wright will take place on Friday, January 14, 2011 at the Tulsa Select’s Navajo Room in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This event will be held on the same weekend as the 25th Annual Chili Bowl Winter Nationals. Also appearing will be Dennis Wells of Wells Racing Engines and Garrett Andrews of Competition Suspension. The all day event will be held from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
