Lemley Scores Thursday Night Thunder Week 2 Win by .048
After last week’s margin of victory (.061 between Eric Fisher and Colton Heath) in the 360 sprint cars, many thought that a repeat or better performance would be near impossible…except for Brock Lemley. Essentially saying “hold my Budweiser” to last week’s dynamite finish, Lemley took the win on week two of Thursday Night Thunder on SkagitSpeedway.TV, beating Colton Heath in a slobberknocker of a main event by .048 seconds.

Kyle Larson Earns Second Consecutive All Star Victory With Win at Lawton Speedway
For the second time in as many nights, Elk Grove, California’s Kyle Larson is an Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 main event winner, doing so during Cometic Gasket Thunder Through The Plains presented by Hercules Tires competition at Lawton Speedway in Lawton, Oklahoma, on Monday, June 8. Accompanied by a $5,000 payay, the Lawton victory required patience and perseverance, once again forced to fend off some of the best in the business, all while navigating a tricky, yet narrow racing groove.

T.J.’s Notebook: Does Thunder Through the Plains Continue Post Pandemic?
The COVID-19 pandemic has been the biggest challenge I have seen the entire motorsports industry forced to take on in my lifetime. Since series and tracks have slowly returned to action one unintended benefit has been some tremendous races taking place every week.

2020 Feature Win List Week 23: Mark Smith Leads; Brad Sweet Moves Into Tie for Second
After 23 weeks of action Mark Smith continues to lead the 2020 feature win list with 11 feature victories. Brad Sweet’s pair of wins with the World of Outlaws at Beaver Dam Raceway over the weekend moves him into a tie for the second position with James McFadden with eight feature victories.
