Terre Haute and Haubstadt Up Next for the USAC National Sprint Car Series

The “Jim Hurtubise Classic” and the “Haubstadt Hustler” are on tap in Indiana this week for the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship. Matt Wood Racing Reveals Upcoming Plans

The remaining race plans for the Matt Wood Racing #17w sprint car team have been announced. The rest of the 2016 season will include eleven events. Kerry Madsen, who won the $25,000 Jackson Nationals in Minnesota over Labor Day weekend will pilot the car for the bulk of the races, while Fremont, Califonia’s Shane Golobic will be behind the wheel for the National Sprint League events at St. Francois County Raceway near Farmington, Missouri.

Urish Conquers Jacksonville Makeup

On a weekend when we thought racing wasn’t going to happen because of mother nature, Jacksonville Speedway stepped up to the plate and on short notice made it happen. Rain cancelled Jacksonville Speedway show on Friday and Spoon River on Saturday, but Jacksonville Speedway stepped up to the plate and worked hard all day long and rescheduled the Friday even to for saturday evening after Spoon River cancelled.

Tri-State Speedway Feature $10,000 to Win Haubstadt Hustler on Saturday

The remainder of the Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint Car Series schedule is set to play out at the Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, IN. Just two races remain on the racing calendar. Next up is the largest paying event of the season.

The Haubstadt Hustler there on Saturday night September 17th will pay $10,000 to the winner of the big 40 lap sprint car feature.
