AUCKLAND, N.Z. — (September 13, 2016) — Kraig Kinser has confirmed he will return to ‘the land of the long white cloud’ to compete in the Porter Hire International Sprintcar Series. He will drive the Kinser #11 car used last year by his legendary father Steve Kinser.

Kraig saw his father win the final night last year in this Series, which has inspired him to return to Western Springs. This seasoned World of Outlaw competitor will be one to watch.

He brings with him the same crew chief to make sure the car is up to the challenge. Peter Murphy out of Reno – California will come down a week early to completely go over the entire car to make sure it is ready.

“I can’t wait to get back to Western Springs” said Kraig, “this year we are bringing the complete package to enable us to win this series” he said.

Kraig will be one of three USA drivers to race in the Porter Hire International Sprintcar Series, with two rounds at Western Springs, and one at Palmerston North. Round One is on the 3rd December.
