Larson Wins 4-Crown Midget Feature After Engine Blow
Kyle Larson was glad Saturday night’s USAC Mopar National Midget Car Series longer as he blew his motor while crossing the finish line to win the main event. Larson ran down early leader Jerry Coons, Jr. and motored away from the field before his engine expired while taking the checkered flag, coasting to a stop after the race was over. The win was Larson’s second in two midget car starts at Eldora.

ELDORA WAITING FOR USAC WINNER #100
USAC has presented 271 feature events at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio since 1962 and a total of 99 different drivers have graced victory lane in various forms of competition. A brand-new winner in Saturday’s “4-Crown Nationals” will become the 100th different USAC winner at Tony Stewart’s half-mile.
