Early entry deadlines are approaching for four big events at the Knoxville Raceway in August! Drivers are advised to get entries in as quickly as possible to avoid higher entry fees and pit costs. The schedule for the Knoxville Nationals Fan Fair & International Reel Wheel Film Festival have been released today by the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum.

PEACE TREE BREWING COMPANY BECOMES FIRST OFFICIAL VENDOR FOR “RED, WHEAT & BLEU” RECEPTION
Knoxville’s own Peace Tree Brewing Company has become the first business to commit to participating in the inaugural “Red, Wheat & Bleu” wine-, beer- and cheese-tasting special reception to be held on Wednesday, August 11, at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum during the 50th annual Goodyear Knoxville Nationals presented by Lucas Oil. The reception is open to museum visitors on the first day of the four-day sprint car national championships, from 12:30 until 3:30 p.m., and it will be held on the museum’s air-conditioned second floor.

Schatz Wins Thursday Feature For the Ages at Knoxville
Donny Schatz came out on top of a tremendous battle with Tyler Walker and Danny Lasoski to take the victory Thursday night at the Mopar Parts Knoxville Nationals. For Schatz, Walker, and Lasoski swapped the lead back and forth several times, even racing three wide on occasion before Schatz took command on lap 23 and pulled away the last two laps to take the victory in the Parker Stores sponsored #15 car.
