National Sprint Car Hall of Fame

After night five, when Brian Brown of Missouri won the Musco Lighting Front Row Challenge at Oskaloosa, three drivers have broken away from the pack in the 2013 Cox Design & Metal Fabrication Iowa Speed Week point standings.

This year’s National Sprint Car Hall of Fame (NSCHoF) “Members Only” reception, to be held on the museum’s second floor on Thursday, August 8, at 11:30 a.m., will feature the defending Knoxville Nationals “Rookie of the Year” and 2012 Iowa Speed Week “Mr. Sprint Car” titlist Kyle Larson of Elk Grove, California.

The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum has done some crazy fundraisers in the past, but, during this year’s Iowa Speed Week, they will partner with the Big Al Kids & Motorsports Foundation to put on an all-ages, winged sprint car ‘Charity Pinewood Derby’ on the museum’s second floor.

The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame (NSCHoF) is pleased to announce that veteran journalists Dave Argabright of Indiana and Pat Sullivan, originally of Kansas and now of Indiana, will be back to co-emcee the twenty-fourth annual NSCHoF induction banquet on Saturday afternoon, June 1, in the Dyer-Hudson Buuilding on the Marion County Fairgrounds in Knoxville, Iowa.

The twenty-fourth annual National Sprint Car Hall of Fame (NSCHoF) induction banquet, set for Saturday afternoon, June 1, is taking shape as 2013 inductees, family members, friends and special guests are beginning to confirm their attendance.

“An Evening with Matt & Tony Moro” is set as the next program in the National Sprint Car Museum’s Sprint Car 101 Third Thursday Series and it will take place on Thursday, May 16. The free and open-to-the-public presentation will take occur on the second floor of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum at 7 p.m. in Knoxville.
