Oswego Speedway’s Novelis Supermodified Budweiser International Classic 200 purse, which annually pushes the $100,000 mark including monies and contingencies, will now guarantee a minimum of $600 to each non-qualified entry as long as that entry participates in one of two last chance semi-finals on Sunday, September 4.

Oswego Speedway’s Independence Weekend Grand Prix 75-lap special has long been a popular mid-season landing spot for out of town or first time season competitors and that looks to again be the case this Saturday as Ohio racers Tim Jedrzejek and Gene Lee Gibson as well as Idaho rookie Davey Hamilton Jr. are expected to make their first starts of 2016 in Novelis Supermodified action.

Oswego Speedway’s second national broadcast of the 2016 season will take place on Thursday, June 23 at 4 p.m. & 7 p.m. ET with the airing of the prestigious 50-lap ISMA Supermodified Jack Murphy Memorial on Suzuki presents SPEED SPORT on MAVTV.

Oswego Speedway and AsphaltVision will begin its 2016 LIVE online streaming schedule with this Saturday’s Port City 160 ‘Super Spectacle’ featuring the ISMA Supermodified Jack Murphy Memorial, the Novelis Supermodified Jim Shampine Memorial, and the Pathfinder Bank SBS Tony White Memorial.

While one round of Oswego Speedway’s Road to the Championship is already in the books, this Saturday’s $10 Fan Appreciation special at the Speedway figures to be a true homecoming for ‘Steel Palace’ fans as the current weather forecast shows a favorable high of 70-degrees with partly cloudy skies.

A new weekly cash contingency has been added to the Novelis Supermodified division at Oswego Speedway in 2016 with the introduction of the Xtreme Short Track Sim Racing ‘Last Car on Lead Lap Award.’
