GARDNER 4-FOR-5 AFTER SATURDAY’S OCALA FEATURE WIN!

Damion Gardner of Concord, Calif. led all but the first lap of Saturday night’s 30-lap USAC AMSOIL National Sprint race at Ocala Speedway, posting his fourth feature win in the last five USAC Sprint races in the Sunshine State! Gardner passed Blake Fitzpatrick on lap two in his Pace Lighting Eagle/Shaver and led the rest of the way to take the “Bubby Army Sprint Nationals” finale over Fitzpatrick, fast qualifier Levi Jones, Hunter Schuerenberg and Casey Shuman.

Pittman Wins Ron Laney Memorial at East Bay

MARK SMITH PULLS OFF A LATE RACE MOVE TO WIN ON NIGHT TWO AT EAST BAY

It was an up-front battle to the end of Friday night’s 25-lap feature. but Mark Smith, who started ninth in the 20-car field on the final preliminary night of the 13th Annual King of the 360’s at East Bay Raceway Park, finally joined those front runners on the last ten laps and gained momentum late in the race to make his winning pass onTerry McCarl on lap 22 and hold on for his first 360 victory here.
