The 2013 USAC racing calendar begins in two weeks, with the 2nd “Winter Challenge” at Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, Ariz. serving as the opening event of the brand-new USAC Southwest Sprint Car Series.

WINTER CHALLENGE OPENS 2013 USAC SOUTHWEST SPRINT CAR SEASON
In just two weeks, the 2013 season for the USAC Southwest Sprint Car Series will open at Peoria’s Canyon Speedway Park. Starting on January 25th, the “2nd Annual Winter Challenge” will feature six races in nine days that will draw many talented drivers from across the country.

Western World Champion Sets His Sights on The Winter Challenge
2012 USAC Driver of the Year and Western World Champion, Bryan Clauson, sets his sites on Winter Challenge 2013 at Peoria, Arizona’s Canyon Speedway. The Winter Challenge will mark the first traditional sprint car event of the year with six complete nights of racing in just nine days as the best of the best kick off 2013.

BUDWEISER OVAL NATIONALS BACK TO THREE NIGHTS IN 2013!
Perris Auto Speedway promoter Don Kazarian continues to play Santa Claus for racing fans with the announcement this morning that the Budweiser Ovals Nationals will return to a three day format in 2013. Added to the schedule on Halloween night, October 31st, will the finale for “The USAC Grudge Series,” for the USAC West Coast Sprint Car Series and the USAC Southwest Sprint Car Series.
