The 2009 season comes to a close for the World of Outlaws with the third annual World Finals at The Dirt Track @ Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina, November 5-7. The event kicks off with a night of qualifying on Thursday, followed by full racing programs on Friday and Saturday. Heading into the World Finals, three-time and defending series champion Donny Schatz has a 19 point lead over Jason Meyers in the series championship standings with two points paying events encompassing the World Finals, with third-place runner Joey Saldana 46 markers out of the lead and still mathematically eligible for the title.
