Sam Hafertepe Jr. put himself in the record books in 2017 in winning his second consecutive Lucas Oil ASCS National Series title. The Sunnyvale, Texas native tied Gary Wright’s record with fifteen wins in a season with the series. For 2018, the beat will go on for Sam, but with a new team. He’ll be partnering with the Canada based Hill’s Racing team.

The “Kunkletown Kid” Ryan Smith will stay active during the winter months, first tackling five events in Western Australia between December 26 and January 6, all before making a last-minute trek back across the Pacific Ocean for the Chili Bowl Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
