Hagar entered last Saturday’s Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour event at I-30 Speedway with three wins and four top fives in his first four races. However, he was caught up in a crash on the opening lap of his heat race.

The Nebraska 360 Sprints event will be the first at the small track in Jefferson, S.D., which is less than two hours from Dover’s shop.
“We were finishing building a motor all day Friday,” he said. “We got the parts at noon and finished building the motor and got off the dyno at 4:30 with an hour and a half drive to the track. We got there after hot laps were over.”
Hafertepe Jr. charged from 16th to a fifth-place result during the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour event at the bullring, which keeps him in third place in the championship standings – only 12 points out of the lead.
The only World of Outlaws event in the state is set for Friday, April 25, with Kinser seeking his first victory at the fast track during his final visit as a full-time competitor.
“It’s always good to be racing in Oklahoma,” Kinser said. “We’ve had so many good nights at tracks all over the state since the Outlaws started, but we’ve only been to Salina Highbanks a couple of times.”
