Eight-time United Sprint Car Series presented by National Champion, Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee won the 30-lap USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour feature race during the 3rd annual USCS Thunder in Carolina event at Carolina Speedway on Friday night.

After three great nights to open up the 2010 season at Mercer Raceway Park, Mother Nature reared her ugly head for the second straight week on Saturday. Rain showers started around noon and with the forecast of more rain later in the day and evening the decision was made to cancel the night.

Just as the track crews were putting the finishing touches on the clay one-half mile clay oval in preparation for Saturday’s race meet, another band of showers invaded the area. With the forecast for heavy rains and thunderstorms invading the area during the early evening hours, race officials canceled the event to avoid travel costs for the competitors and fans.
