After taking the reigns for the Roth Motorsports No.83 in 2012 when the team elected to hit the road with Tim Kaeding, Kyle Hirst is pleased to announce he has signed on with the team full time in 2013 to compete for the King of The West Championship.

As his month long trip to Australia came to a close on Saturday night, Kyle Hirst made it memorable by scoring a fourth place finish in the George Tatnell Cup at Speedway City on Saturday night.

Making the switch from the Ruhs Brothers No.99 to the Michael Cunningham A.R.T. for the week, Kyle Hirst turned in an impressive week during the biggest of the season in Australia.

Returning to action with the World Series Sprint Car Series, Kyle Hirst and his Ruhs Motorsports team put together a nice weekend at the Sydney Speedway, that saw them record two sixth place finishes.

With the WSS taking the weekend off due to the Australian Title, Kyle Hirst and his Ruhs Brothers Racing team were in action twice this past week, their highlight came during the 360 Cup on Saturday night.

Kyle Hirst nearly picked up his first International win to ring in 2013, but a late race battle with defending World Series Sprint Car Champion, James McFadden, left him in the second spot.

Though Kyle Hirst has been bad fast to open up his first trip to Australia, bad luck has seemed to follow the California on a nightly basis as mechanical woes, and an accident has caused three DNF’s in four races.

With his trip to Australia on the horizon, Kyle Hirst will also team with Michael Cunningham of PRP Engineering to help shake down his new A.R.T. Chassis

Closing out his 2012 season, Kyle Hirst pulled double duty at the Western World Championps at the Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, AZ over the weekend as he scored a fourth place finish aboard the Van Dyke 5h, after a bleeder issue didn’t allow him to start the non winged feature.

Taking advantage of Logan Forler’s departure from the Harley Van Dyke 5h, Kyle Hirst kept his 2012 season alive as he teamed up with the California car owner and scored two top-ten finishes against the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour.

Bolting his seat into the always potent Paul Silva owned No.57, Kyle Hirst came from the B main and scored a fifth place finish at the historic Calistoga Speedway on Saturday night.

The Trophy Cup is a rare occasion where the winner of the race often gets overshadowed, but Saturday night, Kyle Hirst made sure that wasn’t the case as the Sacramento, CA driver earned his ninth win of 2012 by charging from the 17th starting spot.

Taking part in the 2012 King of the West finale, Kyle Hirst scored a fourth place finish, marking his fifth top-five finish with the series in five starts with Roth Motorsports.
