After four previously thwarted attempts to complete a racing program at Eldora Sepedway, the spelling of ‘rain’ was replaced with ‘reign’ as Matt Westfall (Sprints), Rob Trent (Stock Cars) and Jerry Bowersock (Modifieds) ruled court over a stout 84 car field Saturday during the Curb Records sponsored contest.

Summer doesn’t officially start until Monday, but the weather was already hot and humid, while the action on the racetrack was even hotter Saturday night when the Lane Automotive Michigan Traditional Sprints invaded Waynesfield Raceway Park to take on the Lee’s Hydraulics Non Wing Sprints in what has is an annual Ohio vs. Michigan Shootout.
