USCS Fall Nationals season finale Friday and Saturday

West Memphis, AR – Riverside International Speedway’s Hensley Suzuki USCS Fall Nationals presented by Union Auto Parts www.uscsnationals.com this Friday, November 13th and Saturday, November 14th has got it all for people who like to see fast race cars go in circles on a tacky action-packed one quarter mile Gumbo clay oval. There should be enough door-to-door and wheel-to-wheel adrenaline-pumping action for even the most avid race fan with a total of over 400 laps of racing in five divisions. Drivers from at least nine states are expected to compete for the $50,000 in prize money during the two nights.

This weekend, the legendary Speedway’s 60th anniversary season finale is headlined by the wheelie’ popping,’ 700 horsepower, 1300 pound Parts Plus www.partsplus.com sponsored United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour www.uscsracing.com winged sprint outlaw cars racing for a possible $10,000 top prize in the “Flip Flop 50”.

Joining the winged sprint cars for the $50,000 season finale will be the popular, ground-pounding, three-wheelie’ 600 horsepower Rislone USCS Modifieds plus the Wingless 305 Sprint Cars, Riverside Stock Cars and 600cc Winged Mini Sprints. Each of those divisions will contest two nights of wide-open racing to celebrate the speedway’s Grand 60th anniversary season.

The Parts Plus USCS winged sprint car racing format on Friday night features a racing program that includes the 2-lap time trials and Parts Plus Power Dash followed by qualifying heat races. The top qualified drivers then compete for the top starting spots in the K&N Filters Pole Scramble event that will determine the line-up for the front four rows of Saturday night’s Parts Plus USCS “Flip Flop 50” (twin 25-lap main events. The first starts straight-up and the second one fully inverted).

On Saturday evening the winged sprint cars will contest a series of B-Main/Last Chance races that determine the final line-ups for the first of two 25-lap main events. The first main event will start the field straight-up from their final qualifying order and pays $2500 to win. The second 25-lap main event will start with the field fully inverted from the finish of the first main event. The winner of the first race will start in 22nd position. That race also pays $2500 to win with a bonus of $5000 to any driver who can win both races after starting last in the second event.

The Rislone USCS Modified Series “Salute to Riverside 60” will see some of the Nation’s top open wheel modified drivers contest a full program of racing both nights including; time trial qualifying, the Rislone Oil Stabilizer Dash, qualifying races and a 25-lap main event awarding Rislone USCS Modified Weekly Racing Series points on Friday night. The mighty Modifieds return on Saturday evening with a full program of action identical to Friday’s format with a 35-lap main event awarding Rislone USCS Modified Touring Series points. The Rislone USCS Modifieds are shooting for a possible top prize of $3000 for a sweep of the weekend’s events.

During the USCS Fall Nationals the Wingless 305 Sprint Cars will race for a top prize of $1000 in their 25-lap Championship on Saturday. The Stock Car division is scheduled to go 30-laps for $1000 to win as well. The 600cc Mini Sprints will wage war with a complete program both nights competing for a possible $1000 to win both the Friday and Saturday night main events.

Ticket discounts are also available at Memphis area Union Auto Parts stores on Appling Way, Cazassa Road, Mt. Moriah, Raleigh-LaGrange and on Veteran’s drive in Southaven. Two-day discounted grandstand tickets are available at the track on Friday night for $30 per person.

The Rislone USCS Modifieds will contest a full racing program including the Rislone Oil Stabilizer Power Dash, qualifying races and 25-lap A-Main on Friday night. The 600cc Mini Sprints will also contest a full program of racing including a 25-lap A-Main.

Saturday night features the B-Main/Last Chance races for the Parts Plus USCS winged sprint cars Wingless 305 sprint cars contesting a B-Main if necessary and their 25-lap Championship race. The Riverside Stock Cars will also contest their B-Main(s) and 30-lap $1000 to win USCS Fall Nationals final. The Rislone USCS Modifieds and 600cc Mini Sprints will both contest another complete racing program including the qualifying races, B-Main/Last Chance races and main events.
