Jason Sides Wins Kasey’s King of Sedalia

Each season Jason Sides sets a goal to win more races than the year before. After winning two events last season with the World of Outlaws, he wanted to take the checkered flag first at least three times in 2010. He picked up two wins earlier this year and reached the three-win mark on Tuesday night in Kasey’s King of Sedalia Presented By Budweiser at Missouri State Fair Speedway to surpass his win total from 2009.

Officials of the United States Auto Club, in order to secure a date assuring success for the anticipated debut of USAC Silver Crown racing at Illiana Motor Speedway, have elected to postpone the July 8 event at the northern Indiana oval and seek an alternate date mutually beneficial for all involved.

Nine nights of racing in a row will take it out on most. Brandon Wimmer was happy with the results during Ohio Speedweek with the All Star Circuit of Champions. He teamed with car owner Rick Ferkel and his #0 for a pair of podium finishes during a week that saw him charging forward each night.

Fisher Files – Power Outage at the Lake!

Josh Fisher held his own against the best the Lucas Oil ASCS National Series at his home track, Lake Ozark Speedway near Eldon, Missouri. The twelfth place finish in the Daniel McMillin/Jesse Hockett Memorial after coming through the B, rang a little hollow with him, however, as the car was a bit down on power. The good news was the problem was found later, and he looks forward to another week at Jacksonville Speedway in Illinois and back at LOS.
