It is with a heavy heart that I have to report the loss of one of my closest and dearest friend and one of the RMMRA’s biggest supporter. Bob “Hoot” Hartman passed away early Wednesday evening October 27, 2010 after a ten month battle of cancer.

VENTURA SPRINT CAR SEASON FINALE THIS SATURDAY

This Saturday, October 30th, Jim Naylor’s Ventura Raceway will host the season finale for the VRA Sprint Car Series. Joining the powerful Sprint Cars will be the VRA Senior Sprints, Dwarf Cars, USAC Young Gun Midgets, Junior Midgets, and Mini Dwarf Cars. The Front Gates will open at 3:00pm with Racing to start at 5:30pm at “The Best Little Dirt Track In America.”

NOVEMBER 27 PERRIS MIDGET RACE CANCELLED

The 2010 USAC racing season will conclude November 27 at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway with the running of the “Glenn Howard Memorial” for the AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Cars. The USAC Midgets will NOT be competing on that date, as previously released.
