SPECIAL EVENTS HIGHLIGHT THE MONTH OF JUNE

SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Selinsgrove Ford will be the title sponsor of the four
division racing program of 358 sprint cars, late models, pro stocks, and
roadrunners at Selinsgrove Speedway this Saturday, June 4. Track gates will
open at 5 p.m., with racing slated to begin at 7 p.m.

Selinsgrove Ford owner Todd Benner also posted $200 bonuses that will be
awarded to each feature winner. The winner of this Saturday’s 25-lap sprint
car feature will take home $1,700. The 25-lap late model feature will pay
$1,400 to win, with $600 and $300 going to the winners of the 15-lap pro
stock and 12-lap roadrunner features, respectively.

Selinsgrove Ford, a family-owned and operated dealership serving the
Susquehanna Valley for more than 50 years, specializes in the sales and
service of new and pre-owned vehicles, parts, body shop repairs, 24-hour
towing, and financing.

The speedway will then swing back into action on Saturday, June 11, with
the rescheduled Collier Paving & Construction Roadrunner 20 that was rained
out on April 16 in addition to a complete program of 358 sprint cars, late
models, and pro stocks.

On Saturday, June 18, the eighth annual Joe Whitcomb Memorial for 358
sprint cars will honor the memory of the late Millersburg racer who
succumbed to injuries sustained in sprint car racing accident at the track
in 2003. The speedway will switch to a 7:30 p.m. summer start time on June
18th, with the late models, pro stocks, and roadrunners joining the 358
sprint cars.

The Jeff’s Auto Body & Recycling Center late model spring championship race
that was rained out on May 7 has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 25.
The late models will compete in a 30-lap feature paying $2,000 to win. Time
trials, heat races, and a B-main will be the qualifying format for the late
models.

In addition to the late models, the 358 sprint cars, pro stocks, and
roadrunners will be on the June 25 racing card, which will also carry
sponsorship from PEPSI.

The June 12 360/URC Sprint Car Spectacular appearing on the speedway’s 2011
schedule has been postponed until a new date can be reached between the
speedway and URC officials.
