Atwood, TN – May 28, 2012 -United Sprint Car Series presented by Goodyear young Derek Hagar from Marion, Arkansas blasted past early race-leader and USCS by Goodyear National points leader Tim Crawley from Benton, Arkansas on lap three of the 30-lap USCS presented by Goodyear main event into the lead at Clayhill Motorsports. Hagar led the balance of the USCS Sprint Speedweek Round#3 contest all of the way to the www.rockauto.com USCS victory lane for his second victory in the month of May in the series. Crawley who won the Round#1 contest at Riverisde Int. Speedway on Saturday night followed in the runner-up spot. Sunday’s feature winner at Greenville Speedway, Justin Carver from Drummonds, Tennessee finished in the K&N Filters Third place position. 2011 USCS Rookie of the Year Jordon Mallett from Greenbrier, Arkansas finished fourth and anoither 2012 feture winner, Jerod Roller from Hernando, Mississippi rounded out the top five.
2010 USCS Rookie of the Year, Morgan Turpen from Oakland, Tennessee followed that group in sixth place. Brad Bowden from Hernando, Mississippi was seventh and Chris Williams from Cordova, Tennessee finished in eighth place. Justin Webb also from Drummonds, Tennessee was ninth and Casey Rowland from Nesbit, Mississippi rounded out the top ten.
