Central Pa. Point Series Starts Saturday at Lincoln

The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars Presented by Hoseheads season is set to begin a 10 month stretch of racing this Saturday afternoon at Lincoln Speedway. The point series payout has been increased to a total of $22,000 for the 2013 season.
The series title sponsors Speedway Motors and Champion Racing Oil each contribute $5,000 while Hoseheads Sprint Car News adds $3,000 as presenting sponsor. Associate sponsors for the 2013 season each add $1,000 to the series and they include BioBased.US, ButlerBuilt Seats, Conroy “Pneu” Control, Eagle Motorsports, Bob Hilbert Sportswear, Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic, Maxim Chassis, the RAACE Foundation, and Winters Performance Products.
The champion this year will receive $6,000 with $4,000 going to second place. Third place will receive $3,000 with $2,000 going to fourth. Fifth and sixth will each receive $1,500 with $1,000 each going to seventh through tenth.
There will also be over $20,000 in product certificates given out to the top 20 in final points. The product sponsors are still being finalized.
The series has 109 races scheduled at twelve different tracks.
It all kicks off this Saturday at 2pm February 23rd at Lincoln Speedway with a rain date of Sunday February 24th.
