Montile Tile Boutique Backs Bricknell for 09/10 Season

From Redline Media,

One of Tasmania’s leading tile suppliers, Montile Tile Boutique, has thrown its support behind youngster Jamie Bricknell in the best possible way by signing on as his major sponsor for the 2009/10 Sprintcar season.

It is without a doubt a huge boost for Bricknell heading into his third season in Sprintcars and the 20-year-old couldn’t be happier.

“The support we have picked up from Montile Tile Boutique is a wonderful way to begin the season and hopefully it can be a win, win for both parties,” commented Bricknell. “Montile Tile Boutique has never previously been involved in the sport of Speedway and it is something that everyone is excited about. We hope this is the start of a long and successful relationship between the two of us.”

Bricknell explained that how the deal with Montile Tile Boutique came about was a case of being in the right place at the right time.

“We were doing a display of our race car at one of the local shows during the off season and one of the representatives from Montile Tile Boutique came up and asked about the car and then it all progressed from there,” he said. “It just goes to show what a bit promotion can lead to and how beneficial it can be. Our deal with Montile Tile Boutique was a case of being in the right place at the right time and having the professional pull to attract sponsorship.”

In terms of the schedule for the 09/10 season Bricknell is going to be very busy and he is full of confidence that has been helped along by a strong preparation.

“This is the best I have prepared leading into a season as I have spent a fair bit of time in the gym and competing in a lot of Go Karting events during the off season just to keep my eye in and hopefully that can help me be on the pace from the opening night,” commented the TAS # 55 Montile Tile Boutique supported PM Race Engines prepared Chev 410ci powered Maxim driver. “The plan is to contest each and every race meeting we can in Tasmania and also make two trips over to the mainland. The season goals are to just build on our results from last season and the main one is to be more consistent and I feel confident that we can achieve that.”

The Bricknell team will head over to the mainland in late January next year to contest the President’s Cup (Avalon Raceway, VIC), Kings Challenge (Borderline Speedway, SA), Grand Annual Classic (Premier Speedway, VIC), World Series Sprintcar (WSS) Championship round (Premier Speedway, VIC) and the Australian Nationals (Speedway City, SA) and then return back to the mainland in April for the annual Easter Trail.

Bricknell’s 09/10 season begins this Sunday (November 1) at Carrick Speedway for the opening round of the Farmers Union Sprintcar Series.
