This weekend, RFR Driver Cap Henry is ready to step into the seat as he
makes his Rookie season debut in the “All Star Circuit of Champions”. The winged sprint car series starts tonight in Florida at the Ocala
Speedway with a back-to-back Friday/Saturday night kick-off.
Henry graduated high school last spring and won three
“Rookie-of-the-Year” titles in 2009 as he won the F.A.S.T. Series,
Fremont Speedway and Attica Speedway honors. Team CHR returned to the
Chili Bowl a couple of weeks ago but was frustrated all weekend by
various mechanical problems.
“Regardless of what he deals with, the kid just keeps applying the
pressure to whoever is in front of him”, says team owner and proud
father, Kit Henry. “Practice went well on Wednesday and we were able to
turn competitive times against some of the best in the business.”
