From Eldora Speedway
ROSSBURG, OH (April 28) โ Based upon the popularity and success of last yearโs debut, Eldora Speedway officials have announced that during the Saturday (May 8) leg of the Outlaw Thunder by Goodyear, they will open the pit area to general admission ticket holders for a pre-race โpit partyโ.
During this time, the race fans will be permitted to cross the front stretch of Eldora Speedway into the pit area to meet the drivers, get a close up view of the race cars and get autographs/pictures.
That night will feature the travelling stars of the World of Outlaw Sprint series in their Midwestern debut, along with the UMP (United Midwestern Promoters) Modifieds and Eldora Stock Cars.
The โpit partyโ will take place from 3:30 until 5:00, at which time the teams and drivers prep for the eveningโs activities which begin with the hot laps and time trials at 6:00, followed by the first green flag of racing at 7:30 PM.
